Tupac Amaru Shakur was one of the greatest rappers ever. He was also a great poet. He expressed his feelings like no one. That is why he is so great. Born on June 16, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY and was assassinated in Las Vegas, NV on September 13, 1996. During his life he had a lot of run-ins with the police. But he always would get out. His mother was a black panther. He then after became one too. His real name was Lesane Parish Crooks. After joining the Black Panthers, they changed his name to Tupac Amaru Shakur. It showed a symbol to God. ln the late 80's he started working with a rap group called Digital Underground. He was a background dancer. In 1992 2Pac made his solo debut album "2Pacalypse Now". This was the beginning of 2Pac's career. In 1993 he released his second album "Strictly 4 My N*****". In 1994 he was shot five times during a robbery. Tupac recovered. In 1995 Tupac released his double-disc album " All Eyez on Me" which sold nearly 2 million copies. That same year 2Pac was killed in Las Vegas, Nevada. After his death, their was six more LP's released including, "Makaveli", "Until the End of Time", "7 Day Theory", "R U Still Down", " Greatest Hits", and "Better dayz". In the fall of 2003 a film and sound track was relaed called," 2Pac Ressurection". So the people can see that we still remember Tupac and we have him in our hearts.
